Diverse Influences - Art At The Key
I don’t know where to start! What a year it has been so far, and for all the right reasons. The Art department here at The Key is exploding with creative ideas and energy. Although the pupils still study the formal elements of art, they have the freedom to complete Arts Awards qualifications, allowing them a choice of artist studies and the ability to experiment with exciting materials. Since September 2017, pupils have worked with a fashion and textile designer, a ceramicist and a professional photographer. Combine these diverse influences with an emphasis on foundation drawing skills and you have a recipe for pupils making progress with their art work.
