"Thank You So Much For Believing In Me" - A Letter From A Former Pupil

19 Feb 2018

About a week ago, one of our former pupils got in touch to let us know that she has just been offered an apprenticeship at an estate agency. She has very kindly allowed us to share a few lines from her message on our blog. We wish her all the very best in her chosen career!

I’m going to take my maths and English and I’ll also have a diploma in customer service. Then once I have completed my apprenticeship, I’m going to go on to obtain a proper qualification for estate agency. Then after a few years, I’m going to California to earn more money and try to start my own business. It’s all a little far-fetched and I didn't believe I could do it, but now that I have the apprenticeship, I think it’s a great start and I’m not going to give up on my dreams.

Thank you so much for believing in me and never giving up!!  God knows how you didn’t, but thank you all so much. I will remember it for the rest of my life and I hope you know how much it means to me. I didn’t really realise how much you had all done for me until now. Most schools would have kicked me out and given up.

I hope all the teachers and kids are okay. I miss you all so much. I will come back soon to say hello to everyone.
