Uniform and Pupil Possessions
Uniform
Uniform at The Key is as follows:
Black trousers or knee length shorts
Black, school-issued branded t-shirt or plain black t-shirt
Black, flat shoes or trainers. Sandals or flip flops are not permitted.
School-issued branded jumper (Optional)
A set of school issued t-shirts and jumpers are provided free of charge. Please contact the school if you require any further assistance with uniform.
Pupils are not permitted to wear hats or coats into the building - coat racks are provided
Pupil Possessions
Pupils are expected to hand in all their possessions on arrival at school. This includes:
Mobile phones or other electronic items
Headphones
Food and drink. Water in a clear bottle is permitted.
Smoking paraphernalia including vapes
Pupils may be encouraged to hand in other items to avoid any issues related to loss, damage or if there is a potential distraction to learning.
Please note:
If required, pupils will be supported to make contact with parents/carers using the school landline.
Food and water is provided to all pupils - where pupils wish to bring a packed lunch this can be stored in the fridge as required and should be handed to reception.
Where pupils have special dietary requirements or allergies these will be accommodated; please ensure that the school is made aware of any needs at the earliest opportunity.
